I’m the mum behind Cally’s Creations – a small business creating personalised SEN visual supports for children and communication resources for those who benefit from a little extra help making sense of their day.
Cally’s Creations actually started at home.
In 2022, I created my first routine chart for my autistic son, Kyran. I wasn’t trying to start a business. I was simply trying to create something that worked for him — something visual, clear and easy to understand that could make everyday emotions feel a little more manageable.
And from that one chart, Cally’s Creations grew. 💜
Why I Create Visual Supports
One belief sits at the heart of everything I make:
All behaviour is communication.
Not every child can easily explain that they’re overwhelmed, worried, unsure what’s happening next, need a break or simply don’t have the words for what they’re feeling.
And for me, understanding that comes from more than being a SEN mum.
I have Cerebral Palsy and a speech impediment, so I also know personally what it’s like to feel different, to have people make assumptions about what you’re capable of, and to live in a world that isn’t always designed with you in mind.
That’s shaped the way I look at children and communication. Different doesn’t mean less capable. Communicating differently doesn’t mean having nothing to say. And needing support doesn’t mean a child shouldn’t be given every opportunity to understand, participate and be heard.
That’s why I create visual resources that give children another way to understand, communicate and feel more prepared for what’s happening around them.
Today, I create personalised routine charts, communication cards, emotion resources, Now & Next supports, visual countdowns and other resources designed around real children and real everyday situations.

Cally’s Creations isn’t a big company creating resources based on what we think families need.
I’m a mum raising children with additional support needs, and I’m also someone who has spent my own life navigating the world with a disability.
A lot of what I create begins with something we’ve needed in our own family, something another parent has struggled to find, or a customer saying, “Could you make something that would work for my child?”

Cally’s Creations is still a small business. Your order isn’t disappearing into some enormous warehouse — it’s being designed, printed, laminated and put together by me.
A lot of what I create has been inspired by things I’ve needed in my own family, conversations with other parents and requests from customers looking for something that actually suits their child.
Because children aren’t one-size-fits-all — and their support shouldn’t have to be either.
